Pomagotchi — Frequently Asked Questions
How do I dress up my Pom with accessories?
Tap the pink Closet button in the scroll menu to open your Closet. From there you can equip hats, glasses, and collars on your Pom. Purchase accessories from the Seasonal tab in the Shop — year-round basics are always available, and seasonal holiday items appear during their corresponding month. You can wear one item per slot (hat + glasses + collar) simultaneously. Accessory ownership is shared across all your Pomeranians.
Do seasonal accessories expire?
Yes. Seasonal holiday accessories expire after purchase — the sooner of 30 days or 15 days after the holiday month ends. Year-round basic accessories are permanent and never expire. You can see how many days remain on each seasonal item in your Closet.
How do I sync my pet across devices?
Pomagotchi uses iCloud to sync your pet's progress, saved poms, coins, and trophies across your Apple devices. iCloud Sync is enabled by default — you can toggle it on or off in the app's Settings. Make sure iCloud is also enabled on your device in Settings under your Apple Account > iCloud.
How do I restore my purchases?
Open the app and go to Settings. Your purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored automatically. If items don't appear, try tapping "Restore Purchases" in the shop.
How do I manage or cancel my Fluff Society subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Your benefits will continue until the end of your current billing period.
How do I enable or disable location features?
Go to your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > Pomagotchi. You can choose to allow location access "While Using the App" or "Never." Your pet will still function without location access, but environment-aware scenes (café, gym, beach, downtown, library, etc.), venue-specific dialogue, first-visit discovery reactions, and weather-based reactions will be disabled.
Is Pomagotchi safe for children?
Yes. Pomagotchi does not collect any personal information and does not connect to any third-party services. All data stays on your device or in your personal iCloud account. The app is safe for users of all ages.
How do I share my diagnostics for troubleshooting?
Go to Settings in the app, scroll to the Diagnostics section, and tap "Export Diagnostics." You can then share the report via email. The report contains only app and device information — no personal data.
How do I redeem a promotional code?
Open the Shop (either the Pom Pom Shop or Fluffy Puffy Services tab) and scroll to the bottom. You'll see a "Super Secret Fluff Pom Code" section where you can enter your code and tap Redeem. Each code can only be used once per device. Rewards such as coins and exclusive accessories are granted instantly.
How does the leveling system work?
Your player level ranges from 1 to 33. You earn XP by playing mini-games, maintaining daily care streaks, unlocking trophies, entering competitions, and logging in daily. Each level requires progressively more XP. Leveling up earns rewards like Pom Coins, treat packs, badges, and exclusive Show Wardrobe items. Your level is global — it carries across all your Pomeranians.
What are Dog Show Competitions?
Dog Show Competitions let you enter your Pom in judged events across four tiers: Regional, State, National, and International. Each tier requires a minimum player level and an entry fee in Pom Coins. Your Pom is scored based on recent mini-game performance, trophy collection, pet care, and equipped Show Wardrobe items. You compete against AI-generated opponents, and top-3 finishers earn prizes and qualify for the next tier.
How do I qualify for higher competition tiers?
Regional competitions have no qualification requirement — just reach level 10 and pay the entry fee. To enter State competitions, you need a top-3 finish at Regional level. National requires a top-3 at State, and International requires a top-3 at National. You also need to meet the level requirement for each tier (State: 16, National: 23, International: 30).
What is the Show Wardrobe?
The Show Wardrobe is a separate outfit system for competitions. It includes four slots: Collar, Headpiece, Body Accessory, and Special Effect. Each item has a quality tier (Standard, Premium, Elite, or Champion) that provides a multiplier bonus during competition judging. Champion-tier items are exclusive rewards from competition victories. Equipped show items are visible on your Pomeranian! You can browse and equip Show Wardrobe items from the Pom Show hub or from the Pom Show section in your Closet.
How do I send feedback or report a bug?
Open Settings > Feedback to submit a bug report, feature request, or suggestion directly from within the app. You can optionally include your name and email for follow-up, and attach diagnostics data to help us troubleshoot. Feedback is submitted securely and reviewed by our team.
How do I use the Teleportation Device?
The Teleport button is on the home screen (scroll right in the second row of buttons). Tap it to beam your Pom into augmented reality! You need Teleportation Passes to use it — if you run out, tapping the button will offer to sell you more. You can also buy passes from the Photo Album’s Teleport tab or from the Shop.
Are competition entry fees refundable?
No. Entry fees (paid in Pom Coins) are deducted when you enter a competition and are not refunded regardless of your placement. Plan your entries strategically based on your current stats and Show Wardrobe items.
Where can I learn more about the Pom Show?
Open Settings > Pom Show Guide for a detailed overview of the leveling system, competition tiers, judging criteria, Show Wardrobe, and tips for success. The guide explains everything from how XP is earned to how attire multipliers affect your competition score.
What is Apple Intelligence in Pomagotchi?
Pomagotchi uses Apple Intelligence features to enhance your experience. On iOS 26+, on-device AI generates personalized status messages, dream stories, journal entries, and notifications in your pet's unique personality voice. All AI processing happens entirely on your device — no data is sent to any server. This feature can be toggled on or off in Settings.
What Siri Shortcuts are available?
Pomagotchi supports 10 Siri Shortcuts: Feed My Pom, Play With My Pom, Check Pom Status, Teach My Pom a Trick, Groom My Pom, Let My Pom Nap, Check a Stat, Check Pom Coins, Check Tricks, and Ask My Pom How They Feel. You can also use entity queries in the Shortcuts app to access detailed info about your pet, tricks, badges, and inventory items. Your pet also appears in Spotlight search.
What is the Smart Care Siri shortcut?
Smart Care is a Siri Shortcut that analyzes your pet's current stats, personality, and recent care history to suggest the single best care action right now. Just say "Hey Siri, Smart Care" (or tap the shortcut) and Siri will tell you whether your Pom needs feeding, playing, grooming, or a nap — along with a brief reason why. It's the quickest way to keep your pet happy without opening the app.
How do intelligent notifications work?
Pomagotchi learns when you're most likely to respond to notifications and adjusts its timing accordingly. The app tracks your care patterns entirely on-device and uses an engagement model to schedule reminders at optimal times. Your pet's personality also influences the tone and timing of notifications — a playful Pom might nudge you more often, while a calm one waits patiently. Notification messages are personalized based on personality, weather, and environment. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in Settings.

The Device — Cosmic Pyramid — Frequently Asked Questions
What are the narrative intros on predictions?
Each prediction in The Device is introduced by a short poetic narrative rather than a plain category label. These intros set a mystical tone and use inclusive, gender-neutral language — no assumptions are made about your gender, orientation, or family structure. The narratives replace the original category labels (like "Love" or "Career") with evocative phrasing that draws you into the reading.
How does the daily horoscope work?
The Device generates a personalized daily horoscope message using Apple's on-device Foundation Models. The horoscope considers the time of day, your reading history, moon phase, season, and local weather (if location is enabled). It is generated entirely on your device — no data is sent to any server. The horoscope is cached for the day so you see the same message each time. If the on-device AI model is not available on your device, The Device falls back to a curated set of horoscope messages.
What is the Cosmic Context system?
The Device gathers ambient cosmic signals — moon phase, season, time of day, solstice proximity, and optionally your local weather — to influence prediction narratives and option weighting. For example, during a full moon you may see moon-themed narrative intros, and stormy weather may bring more mystical predictions. Device signals like screen brightness also contribute to the cosmic alignment score. All of this happens locally on your device.
Why does The Device ask for my location?
Location is used only to fetch local weather conditions via Apple's WeatherKit. Weather data adds flavor to your predictions (e.g., storm-themed intros on rainy days). This is entirely optional — you can deny the permission and The Device works perfectly without it. Your location is never stored or sent to Thomas Ray Publishing.
How do I save and share my readings?
After a prediction reveal, you will see Save and Share buttons on the reveal screen. Tap Save to store the reading image to your Past Readings gallery, which you can access from About > Past Readings. Tap Share to share the prediction image using the standard iOS share sheet (messages, social media, email, etc.). Saved images are stored locally on your device.
What does the birth date / Cosmic Identity feature do?
You can optionally enter your birth date in Settings to unlock your Cosmic Identity — including your Western zodiac sign, Chinese zodiac animal, and Life Path number. These subtly influence prediction mood, category weighting, and lucky numbers to give you a more personalized reading. Your birth date is stored only on your device and is never transmitted externally. You can remove it at any time in Settings.
What Siri Shortcuts are available for The Device?
The Device supports 4 Siri Shortcuts: "Ask The Device for a reading" (start a new cosmic prediction), "Check my streak in The Device" (view your current cosmic streak), "Show my last prediction from The Device" (revisit your most recent reading), and "What's the moon phase in The Device" (check today's lunar energy). You can also find these in the Shortcuts app under The Device.
What are the subscription options?
The Device offers optional monthly and annual auto-renewable subscriptions for unlimited readings. You can also purchase individual reading packs without a subscription. All purchases are processed through the App Store. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Why does The Device require iOS 26?
The Device uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models to power its AI-generated daily horoscope and Apple's NaturalLanguage framework for prediction diversity. These on-device AI capabilities require iOS 26. All AI processing happens locally on your device for maximum privacy — no data is sent to any server.

Colophon — Frequently Asked Questions
What is Colophon?
Colophon is a business management app for independent publishers, authors, and small creative businesses. It helps you track expenses, log mileage, manage documents, journal business activities, import royalties, and generate tax-ready reports — all from your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
Is my business data private?
Yes. All your business data is stored locally on your device using Apple's Core Data framework. If you enable iCloud sync, data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account. Thomas Ray Publishing does not have access to your business data, financial figures, or documents. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
How does receipt scanning work?
Point your camera at a receipt and Colophon uses on-device OCR (Apple's Vision framework) to automatically extract the merchant name, total amount, and date. You can also import receipt images from your Photos library or Files app. All processing happens on your device — no images are sent externally.
How does expense categorization work?
Colophon uses AI-powered categorization with 200+ vendor patterns to automatically suggest IRS Schedule C categories for your expenses. Categories map directly to Schedule C line items for easy tax preparation. You can always override the suggested category manually.
How does mileage tracking work?
Enter your trip's origin and destination addresses, and Colophon calculates the distance and IRS standard mileage rate deduction automatically. The current IRS rate ($0.725/mile for 2026) is built in. All calculations happen on-device. You should verify rates with the IRS before filing, as they may change.
What publishing platforms can I import royalties from?
Colophon supports royalty import from 12+ platforms including Amazon KDP, Apple Books, IngramSpark, Draft2Digital, Barnes & Noble Press, Kobo Writing Life, Google Play Books, Smashwords, PublishDrive, StreetLib, Lulu, and BookBaby. The import uses fuzzy title matching to link royalties to your book catalog.
Can Colophon do my taxes?
No. Colophon is a business management and organization tool, not a tax preparation service. It helps you categorize expenses by IRS Schedule C line items and calculate mileage deductions, but all figures should be verified by a qualified tax professional or CPA before use in any tax filing. Thomas Ray Publishing is not a licensed tax advisor.
What is the Transition Coach?
The Transition Coach is a guided 66-day program to help you separate your personal and business finances. It walks you through setting up dedicated business accounts, establishing financial boundaries, and building habits for clean bookkeeping. Progress is tracked entirely on your device.
How does Voice-to-Journal work?
Tap the microphone icon in the Journal to dictate a business journal entry. Colophon transcribes your voice on-device using Apple's Speech framework and uses NLP to extract attendees, dates, and action items. Audio is not stored permanently — only the transcribed text is saved.
What can I ask with natural language queries?
Use the "Ask Your Business" feature to query your data in plain English. Try questions like "What was my profit last quarter?", "How many miles did I drive in January?", "What are my top expenses this year?", or "Show my royalty revenue by platform." All processing happens on-device.
Does Colophon connect to my bank?
No. Colophon does not connect to any bank, access account balances, or process financial transactions. Funding account records store only a display name, institution name, and optional last-four digits for organizational purposes.
Does Colophon sync across devices?
Yes. Colophon uses Apple's CloudKit (NSPersistentCloudKitContainer) to sync your business data across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Sync happens through your personal iCloud account — your data is encrypted and not accessible to Thomas Ray Publishing.
How do I generate tax reports?
Go to Reports in the app to generate CSV exports, PDF summaries, or Schedule C breakdowns of your expenses and mileage. Reports can be exported for your accountant or personal records. All report generation happens on-device.
How do I send feedback or report a bug?
Open Settings > Feedback to submit a bug report, feature request, or suggestion. You can optionally include your name, email, and device diagnostics. Feedback is submitted securely via Apple's CloudKit.
